Thinkershub invites all the Participants from around the globe to attend the World Clinical Research Conference (Thinkershub CRC 2017) will take in Stockholm and organised by Thinkershub organisation during June 12-13 2017, Stockholm, Sweden.
Why we should attend thConferences
In this digital age, conferences and face-to-face meeting are increasingly being substituted by webinars, video conferences and other forms of digital communication. There are some clear advantages with digital communication such as convenience, cost and time savings. Despite these advantages, the impact of communicating in person is much higher and is backed by scientific evidence. According to a study published in the Journal of Neuroscience, during face-to-face communication, synchronization of brain activity between partners occur leading to successful exchange of information. Besides, frequent eye-contact during face-to-face communication helps build trust between individuals and produce better outcomes such as increased creativity and productivity. Hence, conferences and meetings are necessary even in a world dominated by digital communication channels.
ThinkersHub facilitate these face-to-face interactions between scientists, technologists and other innovators around the world through THconferences. It covers a wide range of topics – from renewable energy to cancer – and aim to identify knowledge gaps in specific research areas. Sessions formats include keynote lectures, oral presentations, symposia, workshops and poster presentations. Besides, THconferences will serve as a platform for young researchers from around the world to showcase their work and for professional development through workshops and discussion forums.
Stockholm: European Green Capital, knowledge-intensive and innovative region in the world as our Conference Venue
Stockholm is internationally recognized as one of the most knowledge-intensive and innovative regions in the world and as a leading supplier of solutions and products in key sectors such as Life Science, ICT and Cleantech. Stockholm is the first ever winner of the European Green Capital award and has adopted a unique approach to sustainability where every aspect of environmental, economic and social impact is part of the equation. Or in other words: just about everything that happens in Stockholm does so with sustainability in mind.
ThinkersHub envisions to make cutting-edge research accessible to all. Existing barriers in communication and data-sharing will be diluted to enable faster translation of research findings to valuable products and services. ThinkersHub makes this vision possible through open access publishing, global events and news portal.
THjournals – Open access publishing delivers free content online for readers to increase readership and citations. Although, open access publishing had been around for more than a decade, the intended benefits of this publication model such as world-wide participation and increased transparency in academic publishing haven’t been achieved. Hence, at ThinkersHub, we pioneer a new model for scholarly publishing- THjournals. THjournals would incorporate better reward and recognition practices for authors to promote wider participation and collaborative research.
THconferences – Innovation happens when diverse individuals come together at one place to exchange ideas and research findings. THconferences facilitate this meetup covering a wide range of topics – from renewable energy to cancer – and aim to identify knowledge gaps in specific research areas. THconferences will serve as a platform for young researchers from around the world not only to showcase their work but also for professional development through our workshops and discussion forums.
Thinkershub wants to make meetings as sustainable as possible. We chosen Stockholm as venue, as it is the first ever winner of the European Green Capital award and has adopted a unique approach to sustainability where every aspect of environmental, economic and social impact is part of the equation. Or in other words: just about everything that happens in Stockholm does so with sustainability in mind.
